Educational Programs for Orphans & the Less Privileged
Our goal is to provide quality, accessible, and inclusive education that empowers orphans and underprivileged children with the knowledge and skills needed to break the cycle of poverty and build a brighter future.
Core Objectives:
- Enroll and retain orphans and vulnerable children in primary and secondary schools.
- Provide educational materials (uniforms, books, shoes, bags).
- Offer after-school tutoring and mentorship support.
- Sponsor vocational training for non-school-going youth.
- Integrate life skills, moral instruction, and digital literacy.
- Partner with schools to cover fees and basic welfare needs.
Program Components:
Back-to-School Campaign
- Mobilize school-aged children not enrolled in school.
- Provide full educational kits (uniforms, sandals, books).
- Pay tuition/levies for selected beneficiaries.
Learning Support Center
- Set up community hubs with volunteer teachers for:
- Homework help
Literacy & numeracy classes
- Moral and life skills training
- Computer and digital skills training
Vocational & Skills Training
- For teenagers who cannot pursue formal schooling:
- Tailoring, hairdressing, carpentry, bead-making, etc.
- Combine with business literacy and soft skills
Mentorship & Counseling
- Match children with mentors (teachers, professionals, older youth).
- Organize monthly group counseling sessions focused on:
- Self-esteem
- Goal-setting
- Conflict resolution
- Career guidance
Scholarship & Sponsorship Scheme
- Partner with donors and private individuals to sponsor:
- School fees
- Exams (WAEC/NECO)
- Boarding for high-need cases
