Our goal is to empower orphans, vulnerable youth, pensioners, and low-income farmers through sustainable agriculture practices, food security initiatives, and agribusiness development — transforming lives through land, knowledge, and livelihood.
Core Objectives:
- Equip participants with agricultural skills and tools to promote self-reliance.
- Provide training in modern, sustainable farming techniques.
- Support startup farms and agribusinesses with resources and mentorship.
- Promote nutrition and household food security among vulnerable groups.
- Create job opportunities and income sources through agricultural value chains.
Program Components:
Youth & Orphan Agro-Training School
- Establish seasonal or year-round training in:
- Crop farming (maize, vegetables, cassava, rice)
- Poultry and livestock rearing
- Fish farming (aquaculture)
- Agribusiness and marketing
- Graduates receive starter kits (tools, seeds, chicks, etc.)
Pensioners & Elderly Farming Support
- Provide pensioners with:
- Small-scale farming plots or gardening tools
- Organic farming training for backyard or home-based food production
- Monthly support with fertilizers, seeds, or basic equipment
Women & Widows’ Cooperative Farms
- Create cooperative groups where women and widows can:
- Share land or farm collectively
- Access microloans, grants, or shared harvests
- Attend workshops on post-harvest storage and market access
Access to Tools, Seeds, and Inputs
- Distribute starter packs that include:
- Improved seeds
- Fertilizers
- Farming tools (hoes, cutlasses, watering cans)
- Poultry chicks or fingerlings for fish farming
Market Access & Agribusiness Support
- Organize agricultural fairs, exhibitions, and market linkages.
- Offer branding and packaging support for processed goods.
- Partner with local markets and off-takers to buy farm produce.
Community Demo Farms & Peer Mentorship
- Establish demonstration farms in selected communities.
- Use them as training hubs and proof-of-concept farms.
- Connect experienced farmers with new ones as mentors.
